[iOS] Spotify is unable to resume playing (podcast)

Phone model: iPhone SE (MLLN2CI/A)

iOS version: 11.2.6

Spotify version: 8.4.48.526

Use case: First time in the morning I open Spotify, go to "Your Library", pick the first item on "Recently Played" list (a podcast), on the "All Episodes" list I pick the first one (the one I was listening last time). Then I maximize the now playing bar and it shows the interface ok. But the playing doesn't resume. It shows the pause symbol, so it should be playing, but it doesn't. If I press pause and play to try to make it resume, but nothing happens. Then it resets the progress but doesn't resume. I have to close and open Spotify a couple of times to make it work, losing the progress.
