iOS app search not updated to instant search

I've noticed that my friends' with the iOS app have the new instant search feature which is infinitely better than the old search, yet my phone won't update. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app with no success. Is there anything I can do to make the search function update to the new search?

Unfortunately not, but it will make it out to you eventually. To my knowledge, the new search is still rolling out to devices - just make sure you keep your app up to date and it will appear once the roll out reaches your account.
