iPhone app playback jumping 10 seconds

I've used the app (now at V 0.6.4.2) for about 5 months with no problems, but today it began jumping ahead 10s every 1-2s. While playing, it sounds like a bad CD, but even when not playing, the tracks continue to jump forward in neat 10s increments. When it first happened (1pm), I updated to the latest version and it went away, but it happened again on the drive home. Nothing has changed about my phone from yesterday or this morning when it was working fine.

Have you tried reinstalling Spotify?

Does it work on Spotify desktop? What songs are these? I'll take a look.

Try syncing them offline and see if they still skip. If they are already synced offline; then you can take them out of offline mode; reinstall the app; the put them back in offline mode. It may just be a corrupted file.
