iPhone not showing up under Devices

iPhone not showing up under Devices

I have an iPhone 4S iOS 6.1. I have a Spotify Premium account. Ever since I have had Spotify, my device has never shown up under the Devices list. I am positive they are under the same wifi and the same account. My only theory of why this isn't working is because I am using the wifi on my college campus. Maybe somehow this network doesn't allow device sharing? Please help! I don't want to have to cancel my subscription.

I'm experiencing the same issue using both home and school wifi networks.

It is slightly possible that your college blocks the ports, but unlikely.

 

The Spotify sync has never really worked well, however make sure you have the Spotify app open on your phone and look in the Spotify client.
