iPhone13/local files

iPhone13/local files

As far as I can tell there’s no way to select the source folder for local files on the new iPhone13.

I’ve selected to show local files in my settings but unlike the Mac and the Airbook, you don’t seem to get the choice of which folders to use on the iPhone13.

Also for some reason local files are not syncing from the other devices.

all devices are on the same network and can see each other,  and can operate each other, but that’s as far as it goes.

any help would be appreciated.

thanx

Hey @peedee-boy,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

The process to sync local files may vary between devices. While in Android you have a process to import them directly, in iOS it’s not yet available. That's why you don’t have the option to scan in folders for local files in your iPhone 13.

To import files to that device, you have to follow a different process mentioned in this article.

If the issue persists after the syncing process, would you mind restarting your router to see if it makes any difference?

Also, could you try with a different network or mobile data?

We’ll be on the lookout.

We apologize if the previous post doesn’t include the link. The steps are listed in the article called Local files here.

Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
