iphone SE: App has been freezing for 20+ sec whenever you open it after a while

When i saw the update today i figured it would end up fixing this issue, but it didnt.

Essentially, ever since i downloaded the newest Iphone update, spotify freezes all the time. The weird part, is the music doesnt freeze. If im listening, and i open the app after its been closed for a while, i just cant click anything, move between menus, nothing, un responsive, for like 20-30 seconds. Then it just starts working again. Quite frustrating if you are trying to change a song when doing something else, or while driving to do it quick!

This also happens when opening up the app after not using for a while, but when it was still open in the back round (ie, it was just minimized)

quite annoying, only has been happening for like last 2 weeks

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
