jarring fade in/out of audio when scrubbing

My Problem

i've noticed w the most recent update that there is this very jarring and fast fade in/fade out of the audio when i scrub to a different part of the song. this only started w the newest update. have tried playing w playback and audio settings to no avail. very unpleasant. if there's a way to fix this on my end id appreciate the help!

We want to make sure we understand the issue before we try to help, so it'd be really great if you can share a bit more info about what you're experiencing:

• Does this only affect certain songs and playlists or is it across all? 
• Are you using any song transitions? In case yes, try turning Mix off.
• Does this only happen on your phone or in the desktop app as well?

We'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app, since there might be some damaged cache causing this and this will ensure it's removed. It'd also be great if you can ask a friend or a relative to log in their own account on your phone to check if they experience the same thing. This will help us determine if it might be account-related.
