playlist not loading in offline mode

i have a very annoying problem. if i listen to spotify and then lose signal, there is no problem to keep listening to my playlist but if i already lost signal my playlist will not load. i live in london so i am using the underground quite a lot and it would be nice to get my phone out then and start listening. well, it doesn´t work, there will be the loading circle and nothing happens. i am a premium user so i pay to be able to listen in offline mode... so it would be nice if that was working properly. does anyone have an idea what is going wrong? i´ve read some answers that it might be a temporary problem with spotify but it´s been like that for about a week now.
