"Now Playing" button not working

When I try to press the button, nothing happens. For example: If a song is playing, and I want to pause it, I press the "Now Playing" button. But when the button doesn't work, I have to start the song again. The problem is a little bit irritating. Please help. ._.

How strange. My first suggestion would be to perform a clean installation of the Spotify application on your iOS device - You can find out how to do that here.
