"no more room in your library" message

I have a premium account and I want to only add an album to my library. I dont want to download it to my phone, but I keep getting the message that I've reached the 10000 limit. (no more room in your library message)

Liking albums counts to that 10k limit? If not, how can I do to make Liking albums dont download them?

After you like an album, does it add it to your list of albums? If so, you can find the album in that list and then turn the download option off there.
