"share" URL loses the song / redirects to the app

currently when you click "share" on a song, the url created should be redirecting to that song.

Yet sharing on IOS seem to resolve to the spotify app in the IOS app store, which itself will not redirect to the song directly, instead forcing you to update the spotify app:

therefore there is no "sharing" since it is just the spotify app that we are sharing, and the intial preview of the song in the message.

PLEASE BRING BACK SONG SHARING so it opens the target's spotify and the specified song!

This is odd. So we can check the link, could you send us one? And does it only happen when you share the link from your iOS device? Or even if you generate the link from another device (like a computer) and open it on your iOS device, you get the same result?

In the meantime, try the following:

• Clean the app's cache by going to Settings > Storage > Clear cache.
• Make sure both the OS and Spotify app are up-to-date.
• Clean reinstall the app with these steps. No worries, you won't lose any content, but you might have to re-download your offline content.
