My Question or Issue

After updating to iOS 15.0.2 on Tuesday, I have been unable to play certain songs in my liked songs. They're downloaded but stay stuck at 0:00 when I click on them. If I go to the artist and try to play them, they don't play either. Most songs play just fine, but there are quite a few that just won't play at all. For instance the first song in my liked songs plays just fine, but the Linkin Park one next up won't play at all and the Olivia Rodrigo song after that plays just fine. I can't figure out any connection between them & why they would not play. Updating to Spotify 8.6.72 did not help the situation at all. Any help would be appreciated

I am having the same problem. I thought it was a connection issue, but I’ve tried it on multiple networks & it seems random in what can play and what won’t. Either it plays 0 seconds of the song or 8 seconds. I updated my phone software & the app, no change. I’ve tried downloading the song, but that doesn’t do anything either.

In this case we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

 

If that doesn't do the trick, can you let us know if this only occurs on one device or multiple devices?
