songs won't sync on my iPhone

my songs will sync perfectly fine on my computer, but the second I try to sync them in order to listen to them offline on my phone, nothing happens. they won't sync. I have an iPhone 4S, I've made sure there's enough storage on my phone, and I've tried several times to delete than redownload the app, and run my phone off than back on. and I do have a premium account. help please!

You don't even get the downloads showing as pending? Is your iphone showing under devices in the desktop client?
