Have been getting emails from Spotify to 'Rejoin Premium for 3 months for 9.99'. So I rushed to sign up yesterday since the offer expired on 12/31 - followed my email link, clicked the '9.99/3 months' banner, logged in to my existing account, paid with a $30 gift card. It tells me confirmed, then I go out to check the actual receipt and Spotify has charged me for 3 months using the ENTIRE $30 gift card. What the heck? I want my $20 of credit back. (As a sidenote, the online check out user experience is ridiculous in that there is NO info telling you what you're getting and what you're paying UNTIL you're done, its complete and THEN you go out to find a receipt? Horrible inferface.)
To confirm, I've had premium before and we just let it switch back to 'free' several months ago.
Any thoughts as to why the system charged $30 for a $9.99 deal? Any way to contact Spotify customer service besides sending a form email and hoping someone actually responds at some point? I'm really disappointed in this customer experience in general.
