Hi,
There is problem with Spotify playback when using 5.1 setting on Xbox configuration. I have a 5.1 channel av system connected to the Xbox One via HDMI and some how Spotify stream (it's stereo sound) is encoded so that sound is heard all surround channels too (but lower volume than main channels). When i choose 2 channel uncompressed setting from Xbox configuration the sound is now 2 channel but higher frequencies is obioviously damped (compared with same song on analog source). I tried with an Groove app (service discontinued) for some earlier purchased offline music (.mp3?) and it working correctly with 5.1 settings. Is the problem in Xbox encoding algorythm or on the Spotify app?
