Actually, it does say so in the Terms and Conditions of the trial.
The following is an exerpt from Spotify New 60-Days Free Trial Terms and Conditions:
If you have subscribed to the Premium or Unlimited service or have taken a 30-day free trial offer or 60-day free trial offer previously, you are ineligible for this 60-Days Free Trial Offer.
