Hi guys,

 

I've posted this in another place:

 

I have a client looking to claim an old profile, but they don't have the information or old address to reset a password.

 

How do we go about helping them get back into the account?

Hey there @ShawnMSmith, thanks for reaching out in the community!

 

That's a good question. They can set up a new Spotify account and then get in touch with a member of the Spotify to transfer over their music/followers etc. to the new account. You can reach Spotify support on social media (Twitter or Facebook) or by using the contact form. Make sure, if they use the latter, to reply to the automated email they should get directing them back to the help pages, even if it's from a no-reply!

 

Support usually gets back within a day or two.
