My account email and password are wrong but I have the correct facebook account linked, I had student prime for a year before realising the email was wrong. I cannot change it because the recovery email for the account is one I've never seen before.

I have the correct card details if that helps as a way to confirm it's mine.

I'm sorry to hear this. Could you try a password reset here? If that doesn't help, try doing this using a different browser or incognito mode.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately this doesn't help. I don't have access to the email registered to the spotify account (I must have made a typo when registering as its very similar to my my actual email) and I do not know the password as I've been logging in through facebook for a year. Is there any other way for me to change my email on the account?

Hi @Gregory253 , I'm very sorry to hear about your troubles logging in. Welcome to the community and hopefully one of us can help.......

 

Firstly when trying to log in, are you pressing the correct button. As in the log in with Facebook button? If so there shouldn't be a need to type in your credentials again.

 

What I think is happening is your typing either your Spotify credentials in a Facebook box or vice versa. Try just pressing the login with Facebook button and see if it logs you straight in. If not and it takes you straight to a Facebook login screen type in your Facebook credentials which you said you knew and you shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks for trying those steps! 

For this particular case, I would encourage you to reach out to support through the anonymous contact form. So long as you are entirely logged out of Spotify.com (alternatively, you can access the form through an incognito window/private browsing) the form will allow you to use an email of your choosing for correspondence. Please ensure that this is an email that has not been compromised and that you still have access to it.
