Hi Spotify family,

first topic in the community, actually didn't know that existed at all.

I want to tell you what happened to me yesterday and get help if I manage to.

My premium account was violated by a scammer and I managed to know where it was by talking via playlists title with one of the guys that was using it.

 

My account is here, with also other 34 premium accounts:

The **bleep*****e that did the hack was this:

What do you advise me to do?

How do I have to manage the issue?

I connect with facebook and I tried to change the password but I still notice people in my account and I also noticed that, strangely, my account is linked to two password:

-facebook one

-an old one that I didn't remember about

 

Please help me, I'm starting to really get on my nerves and I'm stuck on it

I've heard back from Spotify Staff, We've alerted the appropriate team and they'll look into this backstage.

 

Are there changes in your account like missing playlists, removed songs, unrecognised email address or changes to your personal info from here?

 

If there is I'd suggest reaching out to Spotify via the steps below.

Thanks Ethan for being so kind, a guy from the Assistance helped me through the process of recovering my account and now everything seems to work.
