Autostart bug in latest version

Autostart bug in latest version

I have now, and always, had "Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer" set to NO. (I travel to places with very thin internet connections and can't afford to have apps competing for what bandwidth there is.) This latest version, however, starts automatically regardless of the setting and I can't seem to prevent it from doing so. In thin internet areas this startup process lasts for quite a while and interferes with my work. Can I go back one version somehow (the previous version worked fine)? Otherwise I will have to give up and uninstall Spotify so I can continue my work.

Hey there hoffm26,

I'm experiencing the same bug. If you have Windows 10 you can disable automatic startup for Spotify in task manager under the tab "Startup".

Hope it helps,

Couldn't find this setting in the project centennial app, but am experiencing problems with stopping app autostart. Will add this link for more info, maybe it will help: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Closed-Ideas/Ideas-for-improving-Spotify-on-Windows-10-june-2017/id....
