Being charged from account I can't access

Being charged from account I can't access

A few months ago I made the account "spotify49" which I had only used on my phone to use as a premium trial account. One day I tried logging onto the account on my computer and every password I tried didn't work and I don't remember what email I used but I was pretty sure I was using the right password. I went on my phone and looked at my profile on my app and I noticed my username was "spotify49-us", now I'm not positive if you can have accounts in different countries with the same name but theres something that confused me. I ended up guessing the right password eventually to log back into my account however when I did there was somebody elses name attached to the account and it had a different email and was from a different country and it didnt have the "-us" at the end of the name it was just "spotify49".  

 

Now I'm not sure if this was my account or not and I checked the profile preferences and it's not connected to facebook so thats not a possibility of what have might of gone wrong. My main concern is that I have now received two different charges, one on 6/23 and the most recent one on 7/22. I have now been charged $10.85 for both times and it worries me that I don't even know for sure where they are coming from and not only that but I have been charged for a service I couldn't even use and I dont even have a way to cancel  this subscription from which im being charged from because I dont even have the account.

Just going to hide that email address, best not to post your email address in plain text on a public forum to avoid the spam bots. 😉 

If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to investigate this for you, sounds like you may have multiple open accounts in the system. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
