Can I find the songs I played from a day that was 5 months ago?

Can I find the songs I played from a day that was 5 months ago?

Hi there!

I hope someone can help me...

About 5 months ago, I played a vew songs with my friend all via my spotify on the iPhone. Because he recently passed away I am now looking back for the songs we played then. Does anyone know if it is possible to find the songs we played that day?

Thanks!

Hey @Sparklemax,

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.

Unfortunately, Spotify only keeps the last 50 tracks you listened to in your listening history. Unless you have listened to less than 50 tracks since then, there is no way to recover your listening history. To view your history, open the desktop app, click on the Play Queue in the bottom-right corner, then click "HISTORY" in the Play Queue.

The best solution for future reference is using last.fm to save your music listening history (scrobbling), but unfortunately, it's too late to recover your listening history from 5 months ago.

However, if you can remember any of the lyrics of the songs you listened to, you could try typing them into Google search, and you might be able to find the names of some of the songs that you listened to.

Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day 🙂

Sorry, but Spotify only keeps track of the last 50 songs, playlists, and artist that you listen to. Otherwise you can go to This Website and see if it is there. Good Luck!

Hi Noah-S,

Thank you, and thanks for your quick reply and tips, I will use last.fm in the future ;).
