Can't Log In

Can't Log In

I have bought a subscription to see what spotify is like and have been unable to login to the application on my computer. It just stays spinning after the login page. Have tried removing the program and reinstalling and have been through my Mackeepers firewall settings to make sure it has the permissions. I am a bit perplexed by what to do next and if there would be further permissions I need to give through admin... Can somebody please suggest anything further I could try to get this working?

Hi simonm- Everything looks good on your account. Are you signing in using the same email/ password that you use for Facebook? 

 

First have you tried logging into your account on another computer? Do you get the same problem?

 

If this is just happening on your own computer please try the following: 


1. Uninstall Spotify and remove all Spotify folders.

2. Complete uninstall of Flash (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html). In order to uninstall Flash you need to ensure it's not currently being used (basically have no programs running at all).

3. Restart your computer and install Flash again, from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

4. Download and install the latest version of Spotify: https://www.spotify.com/download/

I think I have figured it out. It is the proxy settings at uni do not work with the spotify application. I just need to figure out how to set the proxy with a password for the application it to work between uni and home internet access. Was meaning to update last night after I had figured it out.
