Can't change my email

My Question or Issue

My spotify account is linked to an old email I don't use anymore.

I cant change this email to my new one.

I've tried to log in via facebook with my new email and with my old email, directly to spotify. Both emails let me log in -but  none of them let me change my email.

My spotify was once linked to my facebook, but is now disjointed.

How to proceed? 

If you're from spotify - You can not ask me to start a new account. Spotify is obliged under the swedish consumer laws to make sure their clients can have information regarding their subscription. By not letting me change my email you are violating this law and putting me out of information regarding my account. And I have a lot of content on my existing profile that I don't want loose.

Have you already considered the suggestions in this Spotify Answer? Very useful info if you'd like to keep the content of your current account while starting with a new one as a consequence of your previous login credentials being flawed (for instance, in case you created your old account through Facebook and can't update the related login info).
