Can't connect via facebook through any spotify apps, please help

I can't log into my spotify account (which is connected through facebook) on either the desktop app or the android app.  I redownloaded both apps and it still doesn't work.  The desktop app is telling me I don't have an account connected through facebook but didn't even give my a chance to enter my facebook email and password.  I can access the account through spotify webplayer so obviously my account is connected through facebook.  Additionally, on the webplayer and I cannot access the "view account" page.  Another issue I'm having is that spotify randomly started charging me the normal price for premium even though I am a student, I have verified with spotify that I am a student, and I have been paying the student price for the past 2 years with the exception of the last couple of months.  What is wrong with my spotify account??? Please help.
