Can't delete account or switch email address

Hello,

I would like to change my email address associated with this profile.

When I try to enter the new email address, a message saying this email is already linked to another profile pops up. When I try deleting the profile associated with that new email address, a message saying this email address is not linked with any profile pops up.

Of course, I am the owner of both email addresses. 

What can I do to unlock this situation?
