I've been at this for two days. I'm unable to login and am unable to use my password. I've requested a password reset link at least 5 times but have not received the email. Checked my spam folder, it's not there, either. Can someone help, please.

I have payed for premium and installed the spotify app on my smartphone, I have been trying to login on spotify on my phone but can't because I have to get an email with a link to set a password for my device, I have tried like 3 times but it doesn't work. Have checked every folder on my email and can't find any mail from spotify... Please, can some admin help me out?

Looks like you're having trouble because you have two accounts. You've upgraded the one you opened through Facebook and not the original one.

I'm having a similar problem with getting a device password set up. I've requested to have a link for password set up sent to me about 4 times and no luck. Can someone from Spotify maybe manually send me something or be in touch by e-mail? Thanks so much!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form requesting a device password email they should be able to get that out manually to you. There has been a few posts about this, so I have escalated it to the Spotify staff as a potential issue.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi i am having the same problem, i carnt log in on my tivo box as have forgotten the password but every time i request a password reset i do not receive the e-mail. Please help

If you get in touch using this form someone will be able to assist you in manually resetting that password 😉

Hi ! I'm so frustated, I can't identify me anymore. My account works on spotify.com, but when I try to connect me on the spotify's application on my computer, it doesn't work...It says that my email and/or my password are wrong. I ask to receive an email to reset my password several times, but I have never received it. I have tried to uninstall/reinstall spotify but the same problem appears again and again...However I know that my email and my password are true, moreover I'm sure that it's not a problem of firewall, because I've authorized Spotify, I find it so weird. I don't understand.
Please help me 😞 !

I asked for the password reset link over 2 days ago, and again today, and have yet to recieve it. And in order to reach you guys, you have to create a new account to be able to post a message, because you need a password. I am having the same problem. I can receive all other emails from twitter, just not the password reset email and twitter support hasn't been much help.
I am having the same problem, want to add my Iphone 4S as a device - I have the user name (number) and have tried more than 5 times to get a password reset but I am not receiving the email it says will be sent. Very frustrated. Advice?
You don't normally log in using facebook credentials do you? If not, use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. If you get an automated reply directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly (even though it says not to) to speed things along.
