I've been at this for two days. I'm unable to login and am unable to use my password. I've requested a password reset link at least 5 times but have not received the email. Checked my spam folder, it's not there, either. Can someone help, please.

To get a password reset:
1. Go to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/
2. If you get redirected to your online profile (where you need to current password to make the change), you are still logged into the website. Click on your name at the top and choose Log Out.
3. Return to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/ and you should be able to request a reset.

please help, i used to be able to use spotify on my galaxy android tablet, but now i can log in via facebook and i am not recieving any emails back to reset password, very frustrating as i use my android travelling anywhere eg work every day and more, missing my music please help me xxx

hi i set up using facebook, i tried logging my android in using facebook but im having no joy x
@weewendywoo As you created your account through Facebook, your Facebook details should be your login details. You can't change these details through the Spotify website.
When you try your Facebook details, what error message do you get?
I tried logging in under my facebook login and some pop up window cme up asking if i was a new user or an existing user under 1232784079. I kept choosing 1232784079 and it kept going around in circles saying it was assoiated with a facebook login. Yes, the one I have been trying to login under
So to try a different path on the 15th login try, I chose "new user " and it created a new account with nothing in it. None of my playlists are there.
How do i access my old account 1232784079 again?
There was no option to reset password the first time around it was just saying log in under the facebook login which i was doing over and over.
What do I do to retrieve this account? The account is now linked to a new number 1254770852 which is new and wrong wrong wrong

I tried to log into my account and this pop up window appeared asking me if i was a new user or to log into account 1232784079.
Firstly, I am not trying to change anything. My facebook account is fine. I am not , trying to change anything, I am simply trying to log in to my spotify account.
The login username is fine. There is nothing wrong with this account. The password is correct. I tried logging in last night and instead was greeted with a pop up box asking if I was a new user or to log into 1232784079. I am not a new user so I chose 1232784079. But whenever I clicked on it, it would keep telling me to log in with facebook. So I did and still kept receiving this notification. I tried 15 times and it was the same. My login is not being recognized with this account anymore.
Not sure what to do, I chose new user since that was the only other option. But to my dismay, it generated a new account 1254770852. This account has nothing there. I want my old account back with all my playlists under 1232784079.
Can you please associate my facebook account with the spotify account 1232784079
i have contacted them 3 times and have received automated messages each time basically saying go find an answer on a forum we don't help people via email
Reply at email, even when it is a no-reply email and Spotify will be in contact with you.

I had to create a new account to be able to access this forum. I reported a problem (Spotify Case # 01569313) nearly 72 hours ago and still nobody from Spotify support has contacted me yet.
My account 'llopezcuervo' is inaccesible. Via the mac application I get error 410 and when I try to login via the website (using FB) it says that my email address already has an account. If I try to login with that email address it gives me 'username or password invalid' and trying to reset the password gives me the puzzlying 'oops something went wrong'.
I have a premium account and wish to solve this problem asap. It is not really professional to leave a customer high and dry for such a long time when he has a paying account.

As I mentionned in my P.S., I did reply to the automated email and I have not gotten an answer yet. Checked my spam folder and nothing from Spotify. They simply haven't replied yet, and it has been 72 hours +/-. I need a solution now.

I must say, for a paid service, Spotify support really sucks. Do I really have to start complaning on social networks such as FB and Twitter for anybody from the support team to contact me? Very unprofessional.
As long as you responded directly to the automated email and didn't open a whole new case via the contact form,. your case is in the queue and you'll hear back shortly.
I haven't gotten the reset link either. I've tried to change my password on my account page but it wants my current password, which obviously I don't have. Help!
That's because you were logged into spotify @aumfc . If you want to reset your password and not change it, log out of spotify, including this community then go to the password reset page.
Same thing happening to me. Immidiately after I entered Credit Card info to try it for 3 months for $1
Can't log in on either my computer or mobile device.
My username AND password are both correct, yet it's telling me something is invalid. (Wrong)
And I'm not receiving an email to my inbox when asking to reset the password. (even though it's correct to begin with)
All this happened after I logged out of my mobile, logged onto my computer to pay for the 3 month subscription over the internet(because my mobile device kept kicking me back to the home screen whenever I tried to input my CC's expiry date), then tried to log back in on my computer then mobile device, both of which are now giving me "invalid username or password" error.
