Can't pay for premium in Perú

Hi guys, I live in Perú but had a Spotify account registered in the US. Now that the service is available in my country I want to subscribe for premium, but my card gets refused saying it doesn't match my profile country. My card is from Perú and I have already changed my country to Perú in my profile, but keep getting the same error.

Also tried purchasing a gift card for myself but with the same result. Purchased denied because my card info doesn't match my profile.

Has my profile not updated or something?

I have the same problem. Live in Peru, have changed all my details on my Spotify account (from UK to Peru) but can't register for premium with my BBVA debit card 😞

From what I read on this thread people have just kept trying till it worked. Is there any other solution? Have been trying for days already!

Las tarjetas de débito no las aceptan en Spotify hasta nuevo aviso,

Sin embargo yo he pagado la suscripción Premium con mi cuenta Pagum.com (Tarjeta virtual de crédito prepagada) de Scotiabank y mi hermana pago con Tarj. Crédito visa clásica de Scotiabank.

Prueba con las opciones que te menciono ó llama al banco para saber si tienes alguna reestricción activa.
