Can't see my credit card and can't usewith Google Pay

Can't see my credit card and can't usewith Google Pay

Hello,

I have a premium spotify plan and I came across a page on the website indicating that we can use Google Pay to pay the monthly subscription (https://support.spotify.com/to/article/google-play-help/).

For personal reasons, I would like to switch from a credit card payment to Google pay payment. However, on my account I can't see the details of the credit card I use for my monthly payment. I then canceled my monthly plan and try to resubscribe, but at checkout, I only see the following options : credit card, PayPal, billing via a mobile plan, but no Google Pay.

Is this option not available in France? And additionally, how can I see the credit card saved on my Spotify account?

Premium

Country

France

Device

Pixel 7 Pro

Operating System

Android 14

Hey @mat4444,

Thanks for reaching out.

To see the Google Pay payment method, you need to make sure you're trying to subscribe through an Android device and that your Google Pay is set up correctly. You can visit the support article you've shared for some more info.

Lastly, if you have an active subscription, you can see the payment method you're using at https://www.spotify.com/account/manage-your-plan/.

Hope this helps!

Hi Maxim,

Thank you for the links, but as mentioned, I'm using an Android device and yes, I do have Google Pay setup. Still, I don't see the Google Pay option at checkout. See attached screenshot.

Regarding the payment method, I found it!

Thank you!

Any idea ?

Hey @mat4444,

Thanks for your patience while this was being looked into.

In this case, it's best to reach out to Google Support so that they can look into this 🙂
