Can't sign in on any platform

Hey there

 

I know, I know, this is a problem occurs every day, but I have the simillar issue

 

I can't log in into my Spotify-account on my desktop (I'm using the desktop application on a Win10 platform) nor on my mobile app (Android M). I created my Spotify account using my Facebook-account (this account I'm writing here is NOT the one I can't sign into). Unfortunately I can't give you an error code, I do not have any (except numer 3: wrong password/username)

 

- the notification on my phone says: I haven't connected my Spotify-account with my Faceboook page, but I used that account earlier to register to Spotify.

 

- I've tried to sign out from Facebook (both desktop and mobile app) and login again. I can't sign in, the message is: ,,my Spotify account doesn't connected with my Facebook account" - but it is, I've registered with that to Spotify originally

 

- I can't use my Facebook e-mail/password on the website (spotify.com) - the site says: change my FB-password, and try again. I changed, tried again, nothing happened, couldn't login.

 

- I removed Spotify app from my Facebook-apps, signed out - and tried to sign in again via the desktop app, but the problem still exists, can't login. Same problem with the mobile app.

 

I have a Premium account, but I can't even cancel/renew it because I can't sign in anywhere

 

I hope there's going to be a solution

Hey there @javordenes, welcome to the community!

 

That's very odd. Are all the devices you're trying to sign in, in the same network? Can you try in a different one, just in case?

Does the same happen if you log in via an incognito window?

Also, since you are on Premium, check the receipt Spotify send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, then sign in with your Facebook credentials.

I've checked, I coudn't find the 10-digit-long username in the e-mail you've mentioned. I also tried singing in via an incognito window with no result - the error is the same, ,,your Spotify-account is not connected with your Facebook-account". I've also tried to connect via different WiFi-networks, mobile network, and also rebooting my mobile and laptop devices, with no result.

Hey @javordenes, sorry for taking that long!

 

Well, in this case, it'd be best to use the anonymous contact form to get in touch with a member of the Spotify staff so they can take a look backstage for you. You'll need to be signed out of any Spotify account before using it, however, even the community. Make sure to include any relevant information so that support knows which account you need help with. They usually get back within a day or two.
