Can you TURN OFF the T.M.I. tampon/pad ads?

It is so awakward when we are listening to spotify in the office and a WAAAYYY T.M.I. ad comes on every 15 minutes about tampons or pads just because I'm registered as a girl. Is there anyway to have sensored ads for that and other crude ads- it's way too common and frankly discourages me from wanting to use spotify.

If it's some sneaky ploy to get everyone to go premium to save themselves the embarassement of the whole office hearing about "leaking" and "underwear" and "cotton comfort" then I'm not amused and certainly won't upgrade.

It has been long discussed (link below) but there still isn't a way to filter or remove adverts in Spotify.
