Hi,
I have an issue that seems to be quite popular. I try to connect my FB account using the desktop app and it just does nothing when I click the button. When I try to do the same through the website it gives me the error: Sorry there has been a temporary error, please try again later.
I followed the steps on how to connect it, restarted the app, my laptop and removed and re-added the Spotify app on FB but nothing has worked so far.
Where else could the issue be coming from?

Thanks for the screenshot.
I had to remove it since it had your full email address, but the error message you're getting should only happen to Free accounts that are being used from a different country where they were created.
Since you have a Premium account, you should be able to use it anywhere around the world.
I think you might have multiple Spotify accounts and could be mixing up the log in details. Try following this troubleshooting to see if you're able to find the Premium account.
Remember that if an account was set up via Facebook, you'll need to log in by clicking the blue "Log in with Facebook" button, instead of typing your Facebook log in details in the Spotify app.

Sorry to hear you've had such a hard time linking your account to Facebook.
The first thing to make sure of is that there isn't another account that was either created or linked to your Facebook profile. To do so, just try logging into the Spotify app using the blue "Log in with Facebook" button.
If you do have an account linked to Facebook, you'll need to close it first. Once it's fully closed, your Facebook profile will be free and you'll be able to link it to the account you want.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I still get the same error, unfortunately. Attached you can find what error message I see when trying to log in with Facebook. I can't remember if I've previously tried creating an account with Spotify using Facebook.
I'm in a premium account in The Netherlands but I'm currently in Sofia, Bulgaria for work. Would that cause the problem as I don't expect it to.
I also tried multiple times connecting the account through my phone and removing and reinstalling the app. Also, I cleaned all cookies and such from my browser and tried from over there but no luck so far.
I looked through all other posts on the community page but no solution has worked for me so far. What else can I do?

I had indeed registered previously with Facebook and this caused the issues. I closed this account.
Now my premium account says it's linked to FB and it works.
