Hi,
When I try to log in using email address, I'm getting a message "The username or email you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account. " but when I try to sign up, I'm getting another message "This email is already connected to an account. Log in."
This is quite illogical.
I'm trying to log in/sign up using email address I had associated with deleted Spotify account in the past. I want to re-use the same address (as account has been deleted) and I don't want to create new email address. This should be possible.
Can you help me fix this?

Thanks for coming to the Community.
After closing the account, it will take 14-30 days for the email address to become available for sign-up again.

Eh, this sucks. It would have been simpler if Spotify would allow me to change user name (I had to delete my account because I accidentally entered something wrong in username).
Can't do much. Spotify is ... what it is 😞
