Cannot switch family plan member to a managed account

I'm following this spotify support article with instructions on how to switch a family plan member to a managed account.

However when i follow the instructions, to Account>Manage Members>Select Member the only option available is a toggle for play explicit content.

I've logged out and in again

Ensured that i am the plan managed (it says i am in the account page)
Logged in on an incognito page to avoid cache issues.

How do you do this? Is this functionality that is no longer available? I want to have pin code security on some family accounts so they cannot change the explicit content toggles, or toggle video for podcasts.

Thanks for reaching out.

It looks like this feature currently isn't available in your country 🙂 I always recommend making sure you're visiting the Spotify site for your country, since the support article you've linked contains /nz/ (which stands for New Zealand), instead of /uk/.

ah i see - Thanks for answering that. Unlikely anyone from spotify looks at these community forums, but if you do....

PLEASE PLEASE BRING THIS FEATURE TO UK ACCOUNTS!

Since podcasts were brought to spotify, there is a huge gap between spotify kids, and a self managed account where teenagers can access some quite grim content much like they can with You Tube. I really want to encourage them to explore music and find thier own tastes but unlimited access to video podcasts makes it so hard to navigate

It is there for years and almost 50 pages of comments, but nothing happens. Maybe it is not the correct phrase and spotify doesn't know what to do with 'remove video content'. But it's basically the idea to get managed accounts everywhere.

Thats definatley one part of it, but the great thing about the managed account is that parents can lock settings aswell. Otherwise the toggle can just be de-toggled. Gonna join the thread and upvote it though, thank you

I have the same problem. I'm in the USA. There is no option to create a managed account, only a link to send invites. My children already have Spotify kids but much of their favorite music isn't there. We would like to manage an account to limit content within Spotify, not use spotify kids app.
