Cannot update country or payment method, it says I'm not eligible

Cannot update country or payment method, it says I'm not eligible

When I try to update my payment method it asks me to change country. I do this and then it says I am not eligible for premium and my country location remains unchanged.

Welcome to the Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out!

 

Make sure you've selected the correct region for the website. You can do this here or by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page. The option is located in the right corner:

 

 

In case the issue persists, try cancelling your current subscription > waiting until your account reverts to free > updating your account's country > subscribing again - that should do the trick. If you encounter any payment issues check out this article.
