Cant pay for spotify premium

Im trying to pay for spotify student but when i go to the payment my card keeps getting rejected. ive called my bank and they said its comepletly fine, my card is well within the dates of expiration, i actually have 2 more years on this card. but nothing. is this spotify's error or on my side? anyone else having this same issue as well? or could i just pay for regular premium and change my plan to student?

What's the exact error message you are receiving when you try to purchase Spotify Premium?

contacted support to help with this issue and nothing. anyone else with the same problem???
