Change username

Hi everyone,

while creating the account, I chose my own username. Today I want to login in to web from Spotify with my own username, but I coudn't. This is very annoying and I would like to change it and be able to log in using my username. Is it possible in some way?

Thanks for letting me know.

The name that you've chosen is your profile name, not your actual username.

As Spotify look to improve the overall experience, they’re now automatically generating usernames, hence the random numbers and letters.

You don’t need to remember this to log in. You can log in with just your password and the email address associated with your account.

Note: It’s not possible to log in with a profile name.
