My Question or Issue

 I wanted to share a playlist, but it shows my real name. I found this was due to Facebook linking, but I don't want to get rid of that at the moment because I can't login otherwise as I've forgotten my password and my email is an old work account from a job I left nearly 10 years ago! You can't change your email without the password and vise-versa!

I also don't want to make a new account as it seems a hassle to transfer my playlist I want to share.

Any solutions?

Thanks for getting back to us.

You can't change your name in Spotify, you can however opt out of sharing info such as your name with Facebook. You can do this here.

Give it 48 hours and your name should not be visible anymore. Hope that does the trick 🙂
