Changing from a Premium account to a Student account

Hey everyone, new here to the community, and I wanna make sure I am doing this right. I am currently on a regular Premium Account for the $9.99. I have a deal with Capital One CC that gets it down to $4.99, but that is expiring soon. I have recently become a student again. I would like to take advantage of the new offer with HULU for the $4.99 as a student instead.

How do I do this without creating an account? Do I need to change to my student email?
