Changing my Email

My Question or Issue

Spotify won't allow me to change my email. I went to the edit profile page and it shows me the email associated with the account, but for some reason I can't change it.

Hey, @Kamaushamayah 

That can be happening because you've created your Spotify account linking it to Facebook. In this case, you will only be able to change the email address through Facebook settings, once your Spotify is attached to Facebook database. 

If you haven't created your account using your FB credentials, let me know!

I have exactly the same problem but my Spotify account is not linked to a FB account. It may have once been years ago, but not for a long time now.

I know you've said that your Spotify isn't linked to your Facebook account. But, could you double-check it and follow these steps to break this possible connection?

If the connection is broken, try to change your email address using another device with an incognito tab.

I saw that guide before I posted on the community but there is no such setting on my Spotify desktop (please see attached screenshots).

My Spotify account may once have been linked to my FB account, but I'm sure I delinked it, and I no longer have any FB account at all.
