Charged Twice while trying to renew student plan

Hello, I was trying to reactivate my student package account with Spotify. however, when i tried to reactivate it via the credit card portal. I had to go through the 3rd party student verification process which i wasn't familiar with. when i went through the student verification process which is still on-going i was charged twice in the amount of 5.14 which should be posted on my Spotify account and as its posted on my bank statement which i can provide a screen shot of. I don't want my money back. if possible all i want is my Spotify student for the year renewed and the 5.14x2 I was charged just be 2 months of payment.

Hey @nijoel123,

 

Did you get two email receipts for your subscription purchases?

 

If you didn't get any email receipt or just one, sometimes the amount gets 'on hold' even if the charge doesn't go through. Normally the amount gets back to your bank account a day or two later.

No, I didn't receive a receipt via Spotify yet. I'm just trying to renew my student plan that's all. Right now I'm on Spotify free.
