Hi Team,

 

I have been using Spotify for quite some time and it is just this month that the subscription amount for the account was cahrged off the previous card registered with Spotify. I updated the credit card details months back and it has been working as expected until the most recent auto-pay. I am curious if I could trust the backend system now, given that it should have forgot my old credit card details at all. Could I please understand what happened exactly here? Thanks.

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchase?
 

In it, it shows the Spotify username you paid for:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Double chech the username, as you may have payed a different account from the one you use now.

 

You can login (with that username) to the website to check the status of your subscription here:
 
 
In there you can check your payment info.
 
and also check your receipts here:

Thanks for the reply. I double checked the username and I currently use and pay only for one account. So, that is ruled out, I guess.
