I would like to know whether there is an option to create a company account on Spotify and whether there are special conditions for brands / companies.
I haven't found anything on the Spotify page, nor could Google help me. At the time it seems to me as if there was no difference between creating a profile for personal use and creating a Spotify account for business use.
How do I make sure that no one creates a fake account with the Brand name and how can I authenticate, that I am the "real" brand.
I know Facebook has an authentification process brands can do in order to verify your acount and get a mark as a verified brand account.
It seems as if there was the same option for Spotify Accounts as seen for Coca Cola. See attachements
But I cannot find any information about that
Thank you for your support!c
Best, Ivana

The following guide will help companies create their own Spotify profile:
Spotify changed the way verification works back in 2017. Right now only artist pages can be verified. Companies and celebrities can make their own Spotify profile, and it will work with all of the regular features, it just won't have a blue check mark next to the username. You can read more on this here: https://artists.spotify.com/blog/simplifying-artist-verification
Spotify also changed the way usernames are created. Usernames are randomly generated, but you should still be able to change the display name that displays on the profile to your company name.
https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/account_basics/change-my-username/
Using the Spotify desktop app, you should also be able to upload a company logo to use as the profile picture for the account.
https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/account_basics/profile-picture/
When making a playlist you can chose a custom title, write a description, and even upload your own custom playlist image: https://support.spotify.com/article/personalize-playlists/
Spotify has some recommendations for brand playlists: https://support.spotify.com/article/brand-playlists/
If you are looking to embed a Spotify follow button or embed your playlists on the company website, you can look into this: https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/widgets/
If you need to shorten a Spotify playlist URL link to make it easier to type in all you need to do is copy and paste the link at this website and it will use Spotify's official URL shortener. https://bitly.com
You can also create a Spotify Code which is a barcode that users can scan on the search page in the Spotify app to go directly to your playlist, profile, album, etc. You can get this barcode by going into the Spotify app and going to the share menu. You can also create a Spotify code by going here: https://www.spotifycodes.com

Take a look at this page on how to get a brand verified profile:
https://partners.spotify.com/get-started/media-festivals/
Just follow the instructions.
These are the types of accounts that Spotify can verify:
Hello,
I did this for my company months ago and no response. Is there a contact email for the department that deals with these applications?
Hello Alex19,
Has this been resolved in the meantime?
I'm asking because I sent a similar request on behalf of my company last month and also haven't heard anything.
Regards
K.S.
I have not heard anything yet no. Have you?
Have you ever got response? I'm also sending emails to all kinds of different addresses, but don't get any response.
Does anyone have a contact info for someone who deals with these requests? I'm in the same boat as many others on this thread.
Hey @MattSuda,
I can't open the link you posted. So I can't follow the instructions to create a company account.
It would be great if you can send me a new link or tell me what ist the mistake.
Thanks for your help.

Note that it says:
"Spotify uses verification to validate the accounts of key partners, brands and individuals that are of the most interest to our users. Unfortunately we do not accept requests from the general public. If you meet the criteria, please answer the following questions to have your account verified. Due to high demand, verification may take up to 6 weeks. Thank you in advance for your patience."
Hey Matt,
That link doesn't work anymore but wondering if you could help.
I'm working for a hotel brand that would like to set up a Spotify account to create playlists (but not play in a physical business location). Can you please send me an updated link as to how to do that?
This link is just taking me to the Spotify homepage. I've been searching for a very long time and can't find out how to do this. PLEASE HELP! All the "help" on these forums go in circles.
Hi Mike, have you found a solution yet? I'm looking for the same here....
Also looking for a solution here. Been looking for months. Anyone know how a brand -- like an agency, a magazine, or a consulting service -- can set up a spotify account? Seems like lots of people would have this question, not sure why it's such a mystery. Hopefully someone out there has some clues??

@mattsuda Thanks for the help - however, if companies can't be verified, why do some still have a blue check mark? (i.e. Equinox, Peloton, Sould Cycle... etc). Did they register as Artists perhaps? If so, how?
Hey @Tpitruzzello
There used to be a form to apply for verification in the past, but the form has been discontinued.
Major brands have verified pages because they were either verified in the past or have partnerships with Spotify and with the need to show it's the real profile when accessing it, these will have the verified badge. I've seen some celebrities (not artists) get a verified profile recently, but it's usually Spotify reaching out to verify it and not something that was applied for.
Any brand can still make their own profile page, but they won't be able to apply to have a verified profile without some partnership with Spotify.
Note: I don't work at Spotify. I'm just a volunteer here in the Community. I can't help verify profiles, I'm just providing info.
