Country change won’t save

Country change won’t save

Hi. I’ve moved to another country and decided to update my payment method in Spotify to invite my partner into my Duo subscription. I’ve updated my payment method according to the instruction, including linking the card issued in my new country of residence. The new country won’t save, even though I’ve tried to do it several times, even with another card too. My next payment is scheduled in a week, can this be an issue? Do I have to wait for the next payment to get the country changed? If so, this is very frustrating, because my partner can’t join my subscription due to the country difference.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

As mentioned in this support article, the changes will take effect from your next billing date. This means that your country setting, unfortunately, won't update until then.

 

There's a way to speed this whole process up, but you will lose any remaining Premium time. If this is something you're interested in, let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.
