Credit Card expired and now cannot log into Spotify

Hi,

 

I had Premium Spotify and unfortunately my credit card expired and my new one came late so Spotify cancelled my Premium subscription.  When I tried to log into Spotify (via facebook) to update my account payment details, I would always get an error.  When I tried Forgot Password using my email address, it said no active accounts exists for that email address.  Yet when I try to sign up with a new account with the exact same email address, it says that email address is already taken. 

 

I literally have no way of logging into my spotify account or resetting it so I can start using it.  Frustrating!!  Please help.

Please contact the payments team via the contact form and they will be able to solve this issue for you. To make your case run smoother, please include the following:

  • Date of birth
  • Zip code
  • Last 4 digits of your expired credit card 

If you receive a "no-reply" email directing you back to the community, please reply to it and you'll be connected to an agent that will be more than happy to assist you! 🙂

Have you tried using a different browser or incognito mode with cleaned cookies/cache?

Yes, have now.  Clean cookies, tried incognito.  Tried chrome, firefox and IE.  I have my User ID from a Spotify email - is there a direct Spotify help desk other than this forum I can contact to have my account reset or fixed?
