Deleted Facebook, need to change password on Spotify

I deleted my Facebook a while ago and recently upgraded to student Spotify premium. I need to change my password to log in because I can't remember what I used as a Facebook login. However Spotify tells me to go back to Facebook and change it, but I can't. I just need to change my Spotify password.

Normally this happens when a duplicate account exists, one with a spotify username / password and one with your Facebook details.

Could it be that your Spotify account was created with a different email address from the one you used in Facebook? Maybe you're asking for a password reset with your Facebook email instead of the actual address used to create your Spotify account.
