Can you please try this :

1) close spotify

2) open task manager ( you can do it in the menu shown by pressing ctrl + alt + canc )

3) search and close all spotify dependency (if there are)

4) disable windows firewall / antivirus / antimalware

5) try again to login from the app

Let me know 🙂

Be more specific: have you ever logged in on that lap? Are you using the Windows Store App or the Spotify App? Have you tried logging in from browser? A screen usually isn't enough to understand what's going on, bud.

I am using the Spotify app and I have tried using the browser. the web browser works, but when I sign in on the app, it looks like it wants to sign in but it doesn't. I left it there for hours and it won't work.

More questions. Is this the very first time you try logging in your account on this terminal? Are you experiencing other software issues apart from spotify (computer slows down sometimes / glitches)?

Also, please go in c:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc

open the host file with a text editor and post here all the informations that this file contains.

Usually people does not know how important is this file on windows 🙂

I never had this issue before on here. this problem began not too long ago. it began saying it was offline, I checked offline mode and the offline mode wasn't on. It said my internet was not working, but it was because I was online when it was happening. I tried signing out then signing in but after the third or fourth attempt, I was unable to sign in. It does not tell me why. it just looks like it wants to sign in, but it doesn't.
