As I am from Mexico, and some artists don't show on my search views, I was wondering if the location of my account had something to do with my music catalog?

So if I change my credit card to a, for example, American card, should I be able to have more music?
If you have an American card, then yes, you can set your country in your account to America, and then you can use the US catalogue.

I've got an English bank account and card but it is registered to a French address - would that work to get the English catalog?
Hi,
Although I'm not 100% sure, if it's an English card then I think it should still work if you set your account country to England as well.

I'm quite sure this is the case, which is really frustrating. I used to have a German subscription, and now that I've changed my subscription to Latvia, I've noticed quite a lot of Albums missing, that I used to listen to.
yep same problem in France it seems you have to have a credit card from the country you want to use - a bit annoying
Hi everyone!
Although I can't fix this for you, I can certainly tell you why.
The issue is not so much with Spotify as it is with the artists and record labels. Record labels may only want their music to be available in certain countries, so if Spotify only get permission for some regions, then they can only make the music available in said areas. Sometimes artists decide to make it available in a wider area, so hopefully the music you want will appear soon!
