Direct Debit Date

Hi Everyone. I really don't like Spotify taking my direct debit on the 20th of the month. I want to change it to either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd of the month. Because there is no one to "call" to ask, I don't know how to do this. Coincidentally, I want to change my subscription from premium to family premium. Any advice please?

Hi there!

This is the only way to change the billing date as it was decided when you first created your account.

Pay when you want!

Your billing date will be on or around the same day of the month you first subscribed to Premium. If you need to change your billing date:

1. Revert your account to our Free service.
2. Wait for your Premium subscription to expire (this should happen automatically on your next billing date).
3. Resubscribe to Premium on the day you’d like to be charged. You'll now be charged on or around this day each month.

Note: Your account will need to be on our Free, ad-supported service until the day you want to be billed. Apologies for any inconvenience this might cause.

As for adding someone to your family, you should be able to find it here. Below are instructions for adding a member to the family.

Invite a member

Only the administrator of the plan is able to invite a member.

To invite someone to join one of the allotted subaccounts in your plan:

1. Go to your account page.
2. Under 'Manage your family accounts', click GO.
3. Click on an available Empty Slot.
4. Click INVITE MEMBER BY LINK or enter the e-mail of the person you want to invite. Click SEND INVITE.
